What are some great heels to go clubbin / dancing in????

I like to go out hitting clubs and dancing salsa on weekends but every last pair of heels that I have (yeah, the mall shoes) hurt my feet and the heels wear down fast. Any reccommendations???





I already asked about ballroom dance shoes, but you cannot wear it on concrete, you will have to carry them inside and put them on!

What are some great heels to go clubbin / dancing in????
i find pied a terre and bertie quite comfortable. The trick is to have the plastic heel tip replaces with a steel tip or another hard wearing tip that your shoe cobbler recommends. I also have a rubber exterior sole put on my stillettoes to stop me slipping and also to stop the leather soles dissolving in the rain!!
Reply:If all heels hurt your feet then maybe it's time to try some flat shoes instead. Or rather, go to a shoe store, get feet 'properly' fitted, and get some gel soles for the shoes before wearing them out.

Reply:Actually, It's worth it to me to get a pair of real dance shoes that I wear out on the town. I know this destroys the bottom (which I can always get replaced/repaired), but way worth it when it comes to comfort. Just don't wear them on any real ballroom dance floor (it's rude).





It's funny, I though Lucifer himself was going to appear and that the earth would open up and swallow me the first time I wore my dance shoes outside. But nothing happened, except I found that wearing my dance shoes was soooooo much more comfortable than any pair of regular heels that I owned, so I wear them all the time now.
