How much longer will the Plad Fad last?

Everything's plad now. Not that I'm complaining, I like it. I want to get some plad shorts and shoes and things, but if it's going to be out of style next month, then there's no point. I was just wondering how much longer it can be around. . .

How much longer will the Plad Fad last?
I bought plaid shorts and shoes for school this year. Mainly because they are so comfortable, and all the others shoes and shorts I tried on were not as comfortable.


I think of school as a place to just relax and learn. To me, its not a fashion show-- so if it does go out of style, good.. I will be one of the only ones wearing plaid. I don't want to look like everyone else.
Reply:I've seen some new designs and they're still plaid ! .. i'd splurge and buy a few shorts and stuff because i have a feeling it's going to be in for a few more months .. colored jeans are really hot now (:
Reply:plaid is always in for the fall and the back to school season. it will never disappear completely. just make sure it is a classic colored plaid and not a trendy color, and you should be able to wear it for a while.
Reply:It's already out actually. By the time it's "everywhere" the fashion world has moved on.
Reply:I think it will fall out of style by next spring. I don't think that it is going to last.
Reply:Plaid is and always will be in...especially in Scotland. Don't follow trends. It will get you nowhere. You'll spend tons of money buying something that's 'in,' and you wont end up wearing it again because it soon becomes 'out!'
