If you were in my shoe, would you consider prostitution? (I hope I don't get banned for this qustion)?

My parents have a job. They're client unexpectedly failed to pay them on time, so the project is now suspended. Now, we only have our house and nothing more. (Please don't suggest mortgage the house because we almost lost it for that last year). I have lots of younger brothers and sisters. I just missed a major exam because I can't pay my tuition (I'm in college). It actually amazes me to think that we still are able to eat properly (not always). We are religious and I have strong faith in God. I can't think of anything but to try it! I kow it's not right but I don't have any choice. Also, i can't work yet because it will conflict my studies.

Can you give me advices or suggestions?

If you were in my shoe, would you consider prostitution? (I hope I don't get banned for this qustion)?
if i where in your shoes Id want a sock to cover me and keep me "clean".or hide my shame . because that is what you feel in the shoes of a prostitute.I have had to do thing I wont even mention here anonomuosly to a stranger to survive. And let me tell you even if no one finds out you will always know whst you did.Andyour a goody-goody religious school girl with a good close family, your life is the exact opposite of my up bringing, and if i feel bad and cry now this day over what i've done to survive you definatly wont be able to live with it.See if your school can give you a "work-study"job researching for a professor or in the book store, anything.they will be willing to help.Or talk to someone in your church and ask them to help you find odd-jobs here and ther from the communityDont let men use you as a sperm receptacle.
Reply:there are any number of charitable organisations that can keep you from prostitution, if looked into dilligently. perhaps the older of the younger siblings can look into this. certainly, the ladies' auxiliary, at your church, should have the time!
Reply:Start selling stuff, everything that is not tied down.

Put stuff on e-bay

Have yard sales.

Borrow from friends or relatives.

Do all this before you do anything unlawful.
Reply:Prostitution should never be one of your options. Steal, beg or borrow if you like but don't sell your body. Remember, it's not only your physical body that's involved when you peddle it - it also involves your emotion, your faith, your spirit, etc. I have yet to meet a prostitute with high self-esteem. Love yourself and protect it from harm - especially from yourself.
Reply:of all things it has to be prostitution? there's many other things you can do other than that. doing minion or odd jobs to get by at times like these are not anywhere near degrading but prostitution is. you lost your dignity,self-respect, esteem, confidence not to mention a bright future. you know that , admit it. i'm sorry for what i'm about to say if you find i too upfront.Look if you feel horny just go take a cold shower or something.
Reply:no this is not the option, life is just an examination, if yu adopt the profession you mentioned, it means you failed in exams, you lost the war, If you loose one war, you become one weak, more wars will come, more you'll loose.

Life is a place of happyness and sadness, unfortunately all of us have to face some difficult times. Last year, we had to borrow a large sum of money to pay for marriage of our elder sister, our export business was banged for two years.

However we are religious family, my father, me and my younger brother worked hard, amazingly not only we paid our loan within 8 months, but had the highest sales figure yet.

Why i am telling you this, that getting dejected by some difficult situations does not mean, that we turn out towards unwanted professions, or just start robber or something, try to stay calm and figure out some legal ways to get out of the situation. God will help you! for sure!!
Reply:Check whether your church %26amp; its members can help you out in the short term.
Reply:No. Most prostitutes make little money, get beat up, and have legal trouble. Any money you would make would be spent on medical and legal bills, and fines. (I won't touch the moral aspects of the idea...I think that you are aware of them.)

Calling in favors, borrowing money from friends, relatives, and strangers is an option. (If you think that "begging" is "degrading", it's not as degrading as your other option.)

Sometimes it's necessary for an entire family to take serious financial measures and buckle down. There's nothing shameful about all family members working their butts off to stay afloat...even if it means everybody working two or three minimum wage jobs, seven days a week, until light can be seen on the horizon.
Reply:Never!!

In fact, what you should do is to sit down on a table with your entire family and think calmly of ways how you could resolve this situation.

Your parents are mature enough to think of the changes that should be brought to their life to solve the problem. Maybe they should think of changing their jobs..
Reply:Many students work while attending college, so why the conflict? You can take a smaller work load in school (even parttime student if you have to). You can also apply for college loans, so please speak with the financial aid office in your college. Maybe you can also borrow from other family members and pay them back in the future.
Reply:don't you just think getting a job doing anything at all would be much better than prostitution?
Reply:If your christians why havent you considered going to ur nearest church....jesh....dont ya know thats why we pay tithes! Ask and tho shalt recieve brother!
Reply:Withdraw from school for a year. Get a job, even if it's a minimum wage job and work full time. Or work two or three part time jobs. Sell blood plasma. Do day labor. If you are comfortable enough to do it, strip. You'll be able to return to school when things get more stable. But don't prostitute yourself. You'll never be able to return to a normal family life.

I myself have done every one of the above suggestions except stripping and prostitution. You and your family can get through this. Prostitution will leave permanent damage on your psyche. It's not worth it.
Reply:Um NO...For more then one reason, the biggest being that no one should have to demote themselves to that unclassy, disgusting amount of wrath that no one should go through rich or poor. Second, you can find a job that won't conflict with your school work because I'm doing the same thing. School full time along with work. I just work nights and use the days to study and a few hours of sleep before work. It can be done, I'm a prime example of how it can be done. Especially working nights, you get compensated just for working nights.
Reply:Hon, first of all, you need to study more. Shoe? do you have only one leg? the word "KNOW" has an "N" in the word. Got a few suggestions, get a part-time job flipping hamburgers, work at a convenience store, (don't offer to tutor someone, you'd be terrible at it), work at a temp service, hell, babysit for your neighbors. why does prostitution even fit into this equation? Seriously, there other ways to make money. Make all of your other brothers and sisters get off their a$$ and work too. Think about that.
Reply:I am very sorry for your plight. Unfortunately, there is no answer to your question which can be given by someone other than you. I will tell you that I honestly believe that the Lord never gives us more than we can handle. You have to find, in your heart, what is right for you. I would strongly discourage you from doing what you are contemplating, but mt family is not going hungry. Just make sure that what ever you decide to do, it will not damage you irreparably, physically or emotionally.
Reply:prostitution is work ! and very dirty work at that there are plenty of jobs you could consider can you dance ? at least you could earn some good money without compromising your belief in god what about waitressing at night?
Reply:If you think things are bad now, what's going to happen when you get arrested? That would put your family in an even worse predicament because someone would have to come up with the money to bail you out and then the legal fees....just don't do it. I know you think it's your problem and you want to help, but it's really not your problem to begin with. You parents need to get a job of some kind until this project comes through or whatever. If they're not bringing in any money, then they need to be figuring something else out. It;s thier job to take care of their kids...not yours. Now, of course, I'm not saying to let your family starve. As far as your school, you can get loans if you don't have the money in hand to pay them. If need be, you can always quit school for now and go back later. A lot of people work and go to school though.
Reply:Everyone trying to be in your shoe will provide a different answer. Each answer takes a different path - even the same answer for two different individuals.

The right answer for you is what you can live with and what your current society values demand of you and those you love.

You sound like a decent caring person. There are others in the world sharing similar beliefs. Seek them out. Do not do things you cannot live wtih.
