Need help with ideas about a time capsule?

hei my little sister has to create a time capsule for a badge in brownies shes 9! she was really exited and decoraited a shoe box and put her bits inside with photoes and stuff, she wants to bury it but i want it to last so when she diggs it up its not going to have been eaten by worms and every other bug under there! any ideas?


oh someone told me to put it in a plastic box like a food box good idea?

As it has just been Christmas, has your family had a biscuits in a tin? A biscuit tin would be waterproof and worm proof too.

Reply:Yes. The plastic food box is a good idea. Something like one of those lock 'n' lock things (I think that's the name). Ones similar with air tight lids are easy to find and pretty cheap.

Reply:plastic box would be my choice but put some metal in it so if you cant find it you can use a metal detector, unless you mark the spot
Reply:plastic box good, putting plastic box in a metal box better, will be air tight and pretected from impact, depends on how ott you need to be
