Half of my toe feels as if it's asleep and it's numb why is this?

It's been like this since last night right before bed. I played ultimate Frisbee yesterday in water shoes, walked around in Flip-Flops last night. I'm a girl if that has anything to do with it, and i'm a college student so I've been doing a lot of walking for the past few weeks.

Half of my toe feels as if it's asleep and it's numb why is this?
You likely pinched a nerve during play. It will probably return to normal when the injury stops swelling. Try icing the joint around the toe.

If it's not better in a week, or gets worse, go see your doctor as you could have a blood clot.
Reply:Could be a pinched nerve. I have the same problem. Go see you doctor
Reply:I have had this problem off and on for a couple of years. I assumed it was my back being out of alignment, but it turned out it was because I have bursitis of the hip. Try an anti-inflammatory that you can tolerate (like 800 mg of ibuprofen) and see if that helps bring down any swelling that might be in your back, hip or knee - it might help with the numbness.
Reply:Nerve damage, most likely.
Reply:you may have a pinched nerve, I would suggest seeing a chiropractor.
Reply:You could have Morton's neuroma. nerve damage. If it gets worse see a podiatrist. Also have a diabetic screening.
