Why didn't Cinderella's shoe disappear?

I thought, everything lasts at midnight??

sorry, i probably didn%26#039;t get the whole story

Why didn%26#039;t Cinderella%26#039;s shoe disappear?
Good question...i don%26#039;t no the real answer but maybe since she wasnt wearing the shoe it didn%26#039;t dissapear...
Reply:The story of Cinderella is merely symbolism for the power in the universe that surrounds us.

Because the Prince fell in love with her, and her with him. Their being in love kept the magic in the shoe alive, when the rest of the stuff disapeared at midnight.

Also that same magic made the shoe fit only Cinderella, and no one else.
Reply:You wouldn%26#039;t have a story if it had disappeared.

Did you also ever question how big the prince%26#039;s domain was if the shoe would only fit one lady%26#039;s foot in his whole kingdom?
Reply:magic.
Reply:Hey! You%26#039;ve got a great point there! That is a very intelligent question! =-) I wonder why now, too.... maybe cuz%26#039; Prince Charming couldn%26#039;t look for her with out it?
Reply:Well... alex,

See in theory nothing exist while everything exist.....

the shoe was never there.... its all in the minds of those who believe.
Reply:Well the whole point in the fairytale of Cinderella, was that she could find her Prince Charming, and he could take her away from her evil stepmother and live happily ever after. If the glass slipper disappeared along with all the other things, how can her Prince Charming find her? He%26#039;s got to have something of Cinderella in order to search for her, and she need something to prove that it was hers. It%26#039;s really that simple.

The fairy godmother set the entire thing up so Cinderella and her Prince Charming could met at the ball, and have a wonderful evening together, and he is only left with a single pair of glass slipper to find Cinderella again.
Reply:Remember that Cinderella is a fairy tail. A story containing fairy folk not a real event. The shoe was merely a plot device to get the handsome prince and our leading lady, Cinderella together for the traditional HAPPY ENDING. I hope that I didn%26#039;t spoil it for you. It is a nice story for children. ~M~
Reply:coz the author said so!!
Reply:I like the movie version with Drew Barrymore %26quot;ever after: a Cinderella story%26quot; it makes more since than Disney version. It explains how the shoe could have been left .........cuz you are right, if it was magic the shoe should have gone at midnight too.
Reply:My daughter and I have pondered that one, too. We also wonder if Flotsom and Jetsom hadn%26#039;t overturned Ariel and Erik%26#039;s boat and he kissed her, would she have remained mute. The deal was to remain human, nothing was said about getting her voice back.

Oh the thoughts your ponder when you have a 6 year old.
Reply:Prince Charming couldn%26#039;t afford them.

They were Dolce and Gabbana.
