What to wear, Im a 21 yr young, college junior in NYC. fall fashion, jeans, earrings? suggestions plz?

I dont wear anything except jeans, tees, no makeup, average shoes, and handbag/purse. I go to college in NYC and I want to look stylish and modern and polished. Please suggest what to carry in makeup bag, what kinda stuff can I add to my wardrobe. From ur last suggestions, I am starting to shop from H%26amp;M for new trendy clothing. Hair length is a lil below shoulders. I just wanna look FINE so that im confident enuf to talk to international students at college and make friends. I need the style gurus help. thanx.

THey may not be examples of what you%26#039;re talking about, but I really like to use jewelry as accessories, and shoes that are noticable. I think that shoes and jewelry can make an otherwise plan outfit a bit more interesting.

You can use jewelry, belts, scarves, etc.





Layering can also be a great way to change up an outfit. Having a tank under a tee, tank under another tank, etc. can add color and dimension to an outfit.

Reply:OK...whats in this fall: plaid(whether its shorts, flats, etc.), pencil skirts(great at making/showing off curves), definitely get some skinny jeans(go for a dark wash or black), ballet flats(as many as you want! cute, comfy, and affordable!), babydoll tops example-http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?cat... long enough it can be worn as a dress), trench coats, floral prints, bright jewelry/purses, oversized purses, bangles, jumper dresses. If you%26#039;re looking for a makeup look, go to Macys and go to a makeup counter and they%26#039;ll give you makeup advice and a free makeover!





As for stores...I like H%26amp;M, Forever 21, and American Eagle. They all have trendy clothes. Forever 21 is the most affordable one, but I love American Eagle jeans!
Reply:get lots of jeans, like skinny, boot cut, flair, regular, and some dress pants. leave your hair down it looks sophisticated. if your face is more round, then wear studs. if its more long, then wear dangly earrings. for a special occasion, try braids on the side with hoops.
Reply:well more than style gurus babe what u really need to confide is ur ownself!ill tell u l8r what to do but listen lady if u wana feel hot or graceful or sober or modern yet sophisticated!it has to come from inside!everyday u mite wish to look diff!so everyday when u stand infront of mirror feel deep whatever u wish to look like and then carry dat dress accordingly!m 2 a style icon in my col but leme tell u my profile is exactly like you infact still is but a lii bit is imp just to compliment u!as it is heavy and shocking make up in coll looks wierd infact gals make fun of it!so better keep it simple and straight!and very important is the fact that u shud be answerable with ur make up coz gals mite ask u as to y have u put this blue eyeliner??and the moment they realize that u too r not comfy with it,they will treat u %26quot;soon becoming MOD%26quot;type of gals!so mam better stick to base colours for liners(black and brown)and ya make it visible enuf i mean not too thin and not 2 broad!next eyebrows shud be well in shape!and ya mascara is not must but will suit!wear a waterproof mascara!and if u not in habbit of rubbin ur eyes 4m time 2 time only then apply mascara otherwise it will run off!defnitely lips can be treated wid lip gloss!maybe a natural colour!if u r fair skin wear pink,otherwise brown suits all complexions!just apply a tinge of lipstick wid ur fingers on ur lips.even it out and then apply gloss!it is more effective!and plz avoid foundation on ur face!it will ruin ur skin slowly!infact before takin bath just put a herbal face pack twice in a week!it will take out all the dead skin!vohla!u lookin gr8!

wear some foundation, eyeliner on bottom lid, mascara on top eyelashes, and some lipgloss or light shades of lipstick

Reply:so i live in NY 2 i love it here but anywho what u should do is use some foundation then a little eye liner but not like bad and then some mascara again not a lot and shop at h and m they r all around and then or charlet russe its great clothes lol good luck o ya and old navy is ok and dont shop at like wal mart lol
