Button-up shirts with Jeans for guys?

I like wearing jeans.

For winter, I usually dress up quite a bit. Usually wear a dress shirt with a v-neck sweater, dress pants and dress shoes.

Last summer, I wore jeans and polo shirts very often. I want to try wearing button up long sleeve shirts this summer. I hate the look of untucked button up shirts on guys, even with jeans. Would it look too dressed up to wear button up shirts tucked in with jeans?

no
Reply:it kinda would.... i mean not only is it bottomed to the top,but also tucked in? but then again, when i see guys on the street dressed like that... i think it gives them an elegant look and edge.. so overall it%26#039;s pretty normal and I%26#039;ve seen it before..
Reply:truly depends on the look that u are going for....a more casual laid back way is to leave the shirt untucked top 4 to 5 buttons undone and ur good...but thats just my opinion
Reply:...try wearing shirts that are square cut on the bottom, not the kind you tuck in.

...they%26#039;re more comfortable and look nice too.
Reply:Its ok but not the best
Reply:I don%26#039;t really like shirts tucked into jeans for guys but I think it would look nice untucked. But then if you really dont like that then the polo shirts you wore last year would be nice too : )
Reply:long sleeves in the summer sound too hot. Try a button down short sleeve tucked into your jeans or khaki%26#039;s.
Reply:In my opinion, it depends on the shirt length. Some shirts just feel too long to wear without tucking them in. With jeans, you are probably best not tucking the shirt in, sorry to tell you. Make sure the shirt is a good fit, too.
Reply:Not at all, I think it%26#039;s a nice casual look without being too %26quot;Chav%26quot;. Just make sure the belt matches your shoes (NO SNEAKERS!)
