Generally how much do decent, nothing-special tap shoes cost, and how long to they last?

Mine were $80 Australian. I%26#039;ve never had a pair of taps that just %26#039;wear out%26#039;...and i do 3 classes of tap a week.

If your feet have stopped growing and you only do one class a week, they%26#039;ll last for ages...you just might have to tighten the screws every so often and clean them...but thats about it!

I really hope this helps, I havent exactly explained it amazingly!

Depends on where you search

Discountdancesupply.com has really good prices
Reply:Probably $25 - $60. If you%26#039;re still growing, they%26#039;ll last one season, but only because of fit, not wear and tear. My daughter%26#039;s last pair of Bloch%26#039;s lasted about 3 years - with HARD wear. And even so, she could probably have them repaired and get another 3 years or more out of them.
Reply:it really depends on what brand because there is a big range, but if you just need a basic tap shoe id say you could get a decent pair for about 30-50 $. I have a pair of bloche tap shoes that were only that much and they have lasted a year already. most tap shoes are very good quality and should last a long time.
