-How long it will last ( I know it depends on how you treat them, and I always treat my shoes good and clean
What kind of shoes (Brand) should I get?
vans are hott. i just got me a pair today. i love them. i am going to pimp them out by putting rhinstones on the checkers. you probably won%26#039;t be doing that since you are a guy. haha. well they are really comfy. and i have had a few pairs of adidas over the past years, and they have lasted FOREVER. if my foot didnt%26#039; grow, i would still being wearing them. they are also really comfy. don%26#039;t know about dc or etnies. alot of ppl at my school have etnies, and they look like they last a while
good luck and happy shoe shopping :]]
Reply:Vans are bamf, i have multiple pairs that have lasted threw the years. Make sure to get a dark colored shoe.
Never been into DC shoes, not worth the money.
Reply:mmm i%26#039;d say vans or good old chucks!
vans are cheap, like 40 dollars, there super comfy (especially the slipons) and they last a pretty long time (maybe a year)
chucks are even cheaper (like 24$ ) but they are not as comfy as vans, but in my opinion there super cool....they last way long !!!
so either of those 2 are cool!

Why does my shoe soles always erased from left side ?
they last 3 month
Why does my shoe soles always erased from left side ?
Because you walk with your feet slightly turn outwards.
Reply:i agree with the previous answer, you obviously walk with more weight distributed to the left side
Reply:You should see a doctor. He will tell you what you should do.
Reply:Do some orto into your shoe
Reply:As above there are a lot of us the same.
Reply:you must see an orthopedic surgeon he shall help you in getting correct shape of heals for your shoes.
Reply:It%26#039;s normal, don%26#039;t worry! And if yoy wear the same shoes every day, 3 months is not unreasonable, but don%26#039;t but new shoes, get them re-heeled.

Are the shoes I bought good for my position?
It%26#039;s been a while since I have played soccer so I was pretty out of it when it came to buying shoes. The link below are the shoes I bought. Are they good for a left and right back positions? I am left handed and left footed. Is the left side or right side better for me for a back? Can someone provide me a link for good shinguards? As I said I am pretty out of it when it comes to equipment. The shoes were 85 at the time that I had bought them. One last question, what is a good shoe for a back position?
http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.p...
Are the shoes I bought good for my position?
The harder kind, one that protects your foot more. You don%26#039;t have to worry about controlling shots etc.. When I play defence it%26#039;s all about getting stuck in so the really flimsy leather is crap for at the back.
Get some solid shinnies as well
Reply:you know to call them boots, right? as for shin guards they used to do an ankle support attached to the guard all round protection for a defender.
Reply:boots are boots, does it matter.
Reply:I believe you should seek a left back position, as a side back must be able to provide good crosses. Crosses from side backs should be curling away from the GK. It means you must cross the ball with ur left foot from the left flank and it occurs the same on the right.
For a side defender, I reccomend you with adidas predators, coz it is specially made to give better kicking accuracy and running comfort. Besides, a side back should attempt to produce quality crosses like Gary Neville, Steve Finnan, Ashley Cole and Fabio Aurelio. I believe that adidas also produces good shin guards. You should check some information at www.shopadidas.com. Oh yeah, I was really disappointed with nike. Their shoes are xtemely uncomfy coz their design is specially made for running only. It has terrible protection for the foot anyway, that%26#039;s according to one of the users that I asked, as she broke her ankle 3x. Even the surgeon recommended her adidas shoes and equipment rather than nike.
Reply:you dont need shoes/boots. its how u play and wut you do in a game. capice?

Why are we all so concerned about these trivialities when we are killing our mother?
I%26#039;m talking about Mother Earth.
When was the last time you actually stepped on the earth; no shoes, no socks just feet on the grass, dirt, rock, or water?

Can you please help me make a very difficult decision about my dog?
My dog will be 9 this summer I love him dearly but he has been being very aggressive lately. It just started, last week my son was tugging at his hair and he snapped and almost bit him, I understand my son shouldn%26#039;t have been tugging at his hair but he use to do it all the time and the dog never seemed to mind. Well today I was cleaning the house and the both my dogs were acting up playing I yelled at the dogs and Guss the one who snapped at my son now snapped at me. I was afraid he would have bitten me, I am sad because I have had the dog for so long and now he is starting to become aggressive. If I find him a new home who%26#039;s to say he might bit that second owner? So what I need help answering is... Is it time to take into consideration that he should be euthanasia? Please no harse comments I am looking soleing for how you feel If you were in my shoes..
Can you please help me make a very difficult decision about my dog?
I feel for you and your family I do very much so, I also had a dog who was everything to my family, but he started to turn aggresive, I also had taken him into the vets, with a clean bill of health. But when I took him in about a couple weeks later with complaints about his behavior, the vet did a urine test, and cancer was the result, so for his sake we had to say goodbye to our family member, it was tough, but we got through it. I am not saying that this is what is happening, but if he was passive before, and now is just showing signs of aggresive behavior, I think it%26#039;s time for some other tests, maybe something more is happening. I hope I%26#039;m wrong in this, but if I%26#039;m not, my prays go out to you and your family. Take care
Reply:It%26#039;s possible that he is sick, hurt, or unhappy, and this is the only way he knows how to tell you. Has anything in his life changed recently? Maybe he could go to an obedience school. It makes me very sad when people put their animals to sleep for not being perfect.
Reply:Did the vet run a test for Lyme disease? Lyme disease and another tick borne illness can cause symptoms of aggression like this (even if you have never seen a tick on the dog, it is a possiblity). My vet runs a three way test when he does the heartworm test that includes these tick borne illnesses.
How about hip displaysia? Pain in the joints can also lead to aggressive behavior.
If it is not one of these, he may be getting senile dementia (just like people) and forgetting himself. I don%26#039;t think rehoming the dog would be an option since he would be even more confused. But before you decide, please think about your life and whether there has been any significant change recently (new baby, moved, new job, change in time schedule). These can set a dog off too and you may just need to work with him and remind him who is boss. In that case, get professional help as you don%26#039;t want to be bitten by him.
Good luck.
Reply:Something to consider: Sudden changes in a dog%26#039;s behavior are very often the result of a health problem. if they don%26#039;t feel well, they sometimes won%26#039;t act like %26quot;themselves%26quot;.
Especially if you%26#039;ve noticed other changes -- stiffness when standing up/lying down, appetite changes, etc. -- it may be worth a vet checkup before you proceed to more drastic measures.
Good luck!
Reply:first of all, a dog does not *almost* bite..He either bites or he does not. The snaps that miss, are warnings. Your dog is giving ample warning that he isn%26#039;t feeling well enough to be messed with. An exam by the vet doesn%26#039;t mean much unless the vet is looking for a specific problem, such as soreness or difference in blood values. Most dogs will get an over-all OK from the vet, but if symptoms aren%26#039;t run down, it isn%26#039;t a thorough exam..AND your dog definitely has symptoms..He is either not right in his body or his head..How can he tell the vet he has a headache, and doesn%26#039;t feel like being played with? How can he tell the vet that when you shout, it really hurts his ears?
When a good natured dog turns crabby, there IS an underlying cause..
A dog%26#039;s mouth is extremely functional..it is his hands, and he can pick a fly out of the air with it..when he bites a little, he *means* to bite just a little.. when he does harm, he *means* to do harm, and when he snaps and misses, he *means* to miss..
Take into consideration that he is an OLD man, and has aches and pains common to old age..Demand that your son be gentle with him...It will be a good lesson in respectful behavior...Just as YOU would have it if you were elderly..
Reply:Please handle the dog gently, he is 9 years old after all, an old fella. Please make it clear to your son not to tug at the dog%26#039;s fur. If your son does not cooperate, make sure that the son and the dog are in separate rooms.
If the dog is not incited, he will not snap. Why euthanize the dog for someone else%26#039;s doing?
Reply:you as a mom did not protect him from the begining. Instead of yelling at the dog you should have been yelling at your son. I have a 4 year old that I still have to fight with and stay on top of. I can%26#039;t vaccum if I think she will hurt the dog. personally I would call the shelter. and explain to them that the dog is healthy and was never aggrasive until you child made him that way. and maybe they could find him a good home without children. A dog should not be put down if he is not suffering, and he is only suffering at the hands of your child.
Reply:It%26#039;s very easy for vets to make mistakes too. My best friend had a dog for 12 years and died from cancer only 3 months after having a physical and declared fine. Before you do anything drastic, I would get a second opinion. Your dog is probably in pain for some reason and he has no other way to express his discomfort. Hope that helps and good luck to you!
Reply:I had the same thing happen to me..We move to the country,I had two dogs at the time. For some reason they thought they had to protect me and started snapping at people. I did what everyone said ,,,it was just a warning and I had to be careful when people were around. For a long time I did real good keeping my dogs away from people, but what I learned was that it only takes one time..They got out the door when someone pulled in and attack my friend. A person they always knew. He went to the hospital and the hospital had to report the dog bite. Lucky there were no damage to him they just rip his jeans and a small bite. I am telling you this because of your child. It only takes one time. and you can%26#039;t be around them at all times. I had to put both dogs asleep. The hardest thing I ever had to do. They said I couldn%26#039;t give my dogs away because I knew they bite and it was on record. So if i should give the dog away and he bit someone I would be held responsible.
My dogs gave warnings and they were healthy dogs. I knew what my dogs did. You can%26#039;t think this is a warning and keep you child away from the dog. It is not going to happen. You really need to protect your child. I found out the hard way ..it only took one time. And I am so sorry because I know what you are going through. It is the hardest thing to go through.
I now have Shih Tzu%26#039;s and all they ever do is jump in people arms to be petted.
Good luck to you and please don%26#039;t be hard on yourself if you need to put you dog down. You child welfare, as you know, comes first.
I still get upset for what I had to so with my dogs. I miss them dearly. But I couldn%26#039;t have people getting hurt over my dogs.
Reply:Well like others have said it could be a medical problem. I would call your vet and talk to him/her about the problems you have been having with him and see what suggestions they have. Just because their heart/lungs/etc. all sound and look good on the annual exam doesnt mean there isnt an underlying condition that is causing the crankiness. Hopefully it is just an old age thing and he is trying to tell you that he isnt a puppy that can play rough anymore. However, you have to keep your family%26#039;s safety the number one priority and if the dog ever bites one of your family memebers then you might consider euthanizing. We had the same kind of thing happen with our German Shepherd dog. She bit a neighborhood kid and we were going to put her down but since it was Saturday night and all the vets were closed until Monday. And the little boy said it was his fault and didnt want her put down. So instead we built a 6 foot tall fence around our yard to keep her in the yard (she could jump out of the previous fence) and posted beware of dog signs. But I promise you if she ever attacks one of our other pets or ever bites someone again I will not hesitate to put her down. She is very high strung and if she were to go to someone elses home I am sure she would have the same problems, so for her the best option would be putting her down. Not because I dont love her but because it is my responsibility as her owner to make sure that people are safe first and that she doesnt hurt anyone or anything. She is an aggressive dog but is very loyal but like I said my family%26#039;s safety is much more important. Now if it was a medical reason I would understand but she is only 4 years old and in perfectly good health so I know her attitude is her dominant nature not a medical problem. Well sorry so long and I hope this helps. If you have any questions or anything feel free to email me. good luck and hope you figure things out.
Reply:Have him looked over by the vet first to see if there is a physical problem. For example, if he has arthritis then it%26#039;s possible that your son was actually hurting him. FWIW, if he had INTENDED to bite your son, he would have.
Reply:Sounds like the dog may have a health issue, possibly in pain? I think before you euthanize, take him to the vet and explain what%26#039;s been going on. My dog(St. Bernard) was getting nippy also, it can be frightening seeing those teeth coming your way, the vet prescribed Bak Flower. You just give them a couple squirts in the mouth, a few times each day, it mellows them out, and is totally safe, your son could drink the whole bottle and it wouldn%26#039;t hurt him. It can be used for humans as well, know any cranky ones? Anyway, try it and see if it works, for mine it worked and she listens better now, and isn%26#039;t so %26quot;I%26#039;ll do it if I feel like it%26quot;. I know what you are saying about the euthanasia, we had two dogs that we spoiled totally and many people wouldn%26#039;t allow their dogs on the beds, furniture and in the cars, but we did. When I sold my home, I was going to be traveling for a few months before settling in a new home/state. I didn%26#039;t want to haul the dogs all over and pay hotel fees or not be allowed in a hotel cuz of the dogs. One dog had super bad allergies, the other just plain spoiled, we put them down before we moved. I don%26#039;t regret it, I feel it was the right thing to do for us and them. Try the Bak Flower first, if you don%26#039;t see a good result, then take those steps to euthanize, it%26#039;s not painful, they just go to %26quot;sleep%26quot;. Good luck
Reply:First step is to take him to the vet, older dogs often have an underlying medical reason for a behaviour change, they just do not suddenly snap. So the solution is to find out what the medical problem is, treat it if possible and then is behaviour should return back to normal
one likely problem could be that is thyroid gland is not producing enough thyroid hormone which often there is a decrease in older animals,
A thyroid blood panel is needed to diagnose, treatment is an inexpensive thyroid supplement. It takes 2 or 3 weeks for the meds to help when is affects behaviour
The other possible medical issue could be arthritis pain, medication to help alleviate the pain would make the dog less irritable
Other issue could be eye sight or hearing is going and the dog became startled, and that can be worked thru with ensuring he knows you are nearby so as not to startle him
for a deaf dog you would stomp your feet before going near for a blind dog talking before approaching.
It also could be something worse like a cancer but in this case knowing what is wrong makes the decision to euthanize a lot easier to bear if untreatable because you would understand why and know that by euthanizing you are giving him freedom from pain and suffering so it becomes an act of kindness and love. I hope it is nothing this severe and is treatable and that can enjoy life with your dog again
Reply:i know its a difficult decision, but certain breeds can get aggressive when older, more than likely you have one of them, its very sad to think that he may not be a part of your life any longer, but really it is a good idea, your dog is probably getting older, maybe hurting in ways that you can%26#039;t see such as arthritis, things like that. The best thing to do is to put him to sleep, i know its hard, but if hes too old to be around your children, or play with other dogs and is even snapping at you, its time, putting him into another home will only stress your dog out more and probably still do the same thing. Talk to your vet and find out what he says first though they can tell you why he may have started doing that, how you can prevent it, and also if putting him to sleep is the best choice for you and your family at this time. Good luck and Im very sorry to hear it, i know how hard it is.
Reply:Have a vet check him out for hearing problems and other medical/physical symptoms. When dogs get older their sight, hearing and other things start to go. The vet will be able to help you out to make the best decision for you, your dog and your family.
Reply:I would follow the advice of everyone here to take your dog back to the vet. They can run other more specific tests.
If it isn%26#039;t health related you may also want to consider talking to a professional trainer. Most will come out and give you a free evaluation. If you don%26#039;t have/don%26#039;t want to spend the money to pursue training after the evaluation the trainer may be able to recommend some solutions.
There are some foster groups that will take in, and work with, aggressive dogs to rehabilitate them. However, if your dog has bitten someone it%26#039;s much harder to place them. So try to get to the vets asap and contact a trainer.
Reply:You said he was at the vet%26#039;s last week and given a clean bill of health, but this behavior started about the same time. I%26#039;d recommend another trip to the vet to have him checked again. There may be something that the vet missed, or that was not apparent at the time.
Your dog is getting older and it%26#039;s more likely there is something bothering him rather than he is just %26quot;turning mean%26quot;. It could well be something that can be dealt with through medication.
Reply:Make sure the dog cannot make contact with your son anymore because you don%26#039;t want to wait until something serious happens. Do what you have to do to protect your son.
Reply:Vets often give good health results, but miss something that hasn%26#039;t shown up yet -- maybe this aggression is the only sign and it didn%26#039;t show up in the manual exam or test results. Sounds pretty scary, this is why I don%26#039;t get dogs. You adopted him so you should continue taking care of him, but please be careful with your kids.
Reply:it may be that the dog is unhappy at the moment!he may just be tired of him pullin his hair!and mabe he snapped at you because he was tryin to communicate wit you in some odd way!do call me crazy but it possible
Reply:Okay so if its not a health issue then lets look at his mental status. Has anything changed at home recently? You said two dogs were %26quot;acting up%26quot; have they always been this way? Sorry to say; just from reading your question I would ask; who is the %26quot;pack leader?%26quot; How often do they listen when you%26quot;Yell?%26quot; How often do you exercise the dogs away from the house? Do you see what I%26#039;m getting at? I am not trying to be rude but your dog seems to have changed %26quot;mentally%26quot; you have to figure out what changed so you can %26quot;block%26quot; it.
Reply:It could be that he is in pain. If he is not feeling well, ie pain than he might possibly lash out. Another thing to consider is if there has been any changes in the family life.
Are you working longer, do you perhaps not have as much time to walk him play with him etc. Animals often pick up unsaid tensions that can be in the household.

Post Ingrown Toenails Removal Surgery Problems, Should I see another Doctor?
I had my Ingrown Toenail removed almost two years ago. Starting last January, I began having problems. A small piece of toenail keeps growing up through the skin on the side of the nail. It causes the skin to push up and become irritated and infected, making it be extremely uncomfortable to wear shoes. I can remove the nail piece, but about two months later it will return. Any advice?
Post Ingrown Toenails Removal Surgery Problems, Should I see another Doctor?
This is a common problem. Try to keep a record of which pair of shoes seems to make the problem worse. In my experience nothing has made the problem go away completely.
However, wearing shoes 1/2-1 size larger can give your toes some room to move. Being compacted in a shoe seems to be what pinches the skin so the nail grows out wider than the toe. It can drive you nuts. So you end up digging it out and clipping it off, which immediately relieves the pressure. But, then the toe can be sore for days. Wearing slippers when possible helps, then look for shoes that allow your toes to move freely.
It certainly can%26#039;t hurt to see another doctor, but there is only so much they can do.
Reply:i had this problem... it took my doctor around 4 tries to %26quot;permanently%26quot; correct the problem... Keep seeing your doc, or go to a new doc, but the number one thing is to have patiences...always go to the doc before it gets really bad. Soak your foot in epson salt...try to use sandals.... Once they correct the shape of the naill... let it grow long , and keep it slightly longer then normal ( not enough to bother your socks)... and it should be ok...
I feel your pain though.
Reply:i had that before to on like 4 toes you have to have to doctor kill the rout were the nain starts and then have them cut it and then you would have no more problems. they give you a shot in the conor of the side that keeps groing and then let it heel for like 2-3 weeks and soke it in espson salt and clean bands after they take care of the ingrown toe nain problem so after they give you the shot in your toe or foot it%26#039;s 99% efective that it will not grow back.
Reply:This is such a common problem for many people. The toe is such a highly sensitive part of the body and has more nerve ending per square inch than any part of the body (aside from the genitalia). The skin that feels irritated and infected is most likely inflamed tissue caused by the introduction of bacteria into the wound.
I once suffered from years of ingrown toenails and endured quite a lot of pain. I also found it embarrassing. I had 3 surgeries to remove the nail, only to see the nail once again grow into the surrounding tissue. Pretty frustrating.
I%26#039;d suggest going to a good podiatrist to have the removal of the side roots of your nails. It%26#039;s a simple procedure and it%26#039;s virtually painless--aside from the anesthetic. Injection of an anesthetic will be given to numb the nerves and the parts of the nail that are causing the nail to grow into the surrounding tissue will be removed. It really is a small margin of nail and root that is actually removed. I haven%26#039;t had a single recurrence and it has been approximately 15 years. Well worth the short-term pain. Plus, people are constantly commenting on how beautiful my feet are. Haha! It%26#039;s like plastic surgery for the foot! :)
Reply:I had the same surgery dont back when I was around 12, and I have been having problems with it ever sence, like you I can take care of it on my own but it always comes back. I would recomend letting your doctor know about it and maybe he can do something to help stop this problem. I hope this helps.
Reply:Most surgeons will tell you to go back to the doctor who did your surgery if you are having complications. Sounds like a bit of the root nail bed was left in place. I%26#039;m not a doctor, but I work for a doctor who does this type of surgery and two of my sons have had this same surgery. One of them had to have it twice. No fun!!
Reply:I had the same thing happen to me. Although it took longer for mine to become a problem again. I would not opt for the surgery again, %26#039;cause it hurts like ***. But once every 2 months I have to take care of it myself. I would suggest seeing what options another doc has. It is a major pain!

How am I supposed to ask my parents?
I really want these two pair of shoes for the fact that I%26#039;m going on People to People (like camp?) this summer and I want shoes that will be durable.
The first pair of shoe I want are Rainbow Sandals (the brand, not the color :P) because I%26#039;ll be walking a lot and I don%26#039;t want my cheap sandals to break. (I%26#039;m considering the pink ones, they are approximately $30 if I look for a good deal.)
%26amp;
The next pair of shoes are Sperry Topsiders. I find them very cute, but very expensive. ($50 perhaps if I%26#039;m lucky.)
How should I ask my parents? Both of the shoes @ once? One pair of shoes 1 month and the other the next month? (If I follow the month plan, I%26#039;m afraid my parents would say like %26#039;..but we just got you shoes last month.) Or maybe I should pick one pair or the other? (If I had to, what would you choose?) Or finally perhaps I should get over this shoe fixation and wait for my shoes like everybody else?
How am I supposed to ask my parents?
Maybe you should help out a bit around the house, earn a little money by doing extra chores, and offer to pay for part of them?
Answer mine?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
Reply:Ask them if you can do extra chores to earn some money toward the shoes. You could mow the lawn, wash the car, clean the house, etc. If you are old enough, babysit to earn some money toward the shoes.
If your parents ask you to pick one of the types of shoes, that%26#039;s reasonable, you will just have to pick one.
Reply:Why would you want new shoes for camp? because aren%26#039;t they going to get dirty?
Anyway, you could always explain to your parents that the sneakers are for protecting your feet and walking and such, and the sandals are for when you want to let your feet breathe because it%26#039;s going to be hot.
$30 for sandals is kind of expensive...you could get flipflops instead. Or if you really want a certain kind of sandals or even shoes, shop at Marshalls, or TJ Maxx or Kohl%26#039;s. They have decent prices
Reply:a girl has got to have shoes, lol , i would ask them for the ones for camp,can%26#039;t have cheap sandals, but 2 pairs at one time or in a month from now they might hit you up with times are hard with the price of gas and food lately, but if you get me the first pair then i%26#039;ll do odd jobs around the house for the other pair. then when you get them you will appreciate them even more. well good luck and have fun at that camp
Reply:Just tell them and sound kinda apologic when you do. Tell them you understand that may not be able to one or either of them. But make sure you also tell them the one you need or want more than the other (I would want the second pair more than the first....but you%26#039;d be more likely to get the first pair because they%26#039;re cheaper). Try to hint that you%26#039;ve thought about it a lot and that you%26#039;ve done your research (know where to get them and their prices). Good luck with your camp and your shoes.
Reply:Just remind them that you need shoes for camp. Let them know that it means a lot to you to fit in with the others, could they possibly afford a more stylish shoe? They have a budget and surely want to provide for you the best they can. Just let them know what you%26#039;d like and trust them to do the best they can.
Reply:Maybe you could research on the Internet to find the cheapest place to buy them, then print out the pages and present them to your parents. Tell them that you would like to get both pairs of shoes, but if you can only get one, you will understand. Just be reasonable, they will appreciate that.
Reply:rainbows are comfortable.
i have 6 pair.
but they are not shoes that are going for camp.
trust me, last year i was a camp counselor and we had tooo many cuts.
sperry%26#039;s, i have those too, but they are only meant for boating, water activities. they get uncomfortable after a while, and they do not cost less than $60.
i say you go with what is more comfortable.
Reply:first of all,it IS campinggggggggggg. who CARES what kind od shoes u r wearing?????
what about just regualr running shoes?
and well,it comes down to this - if u don%26#039;t ask yuor parents - u ll never know if they let you have those shoes, right???? maybe u ll get lucky.
Reply:since people to people isnt like camping at all....i have been accepted but not going......you do need comfortable new shoes....and they wont get dirty...(just letting people know) but you will be doing walking so go with something very very comfortable..that you can wear even when camp is over!!!!
Reply:They%26#039;re two completely different styles of shoes. You%26#039;d probably need both of them for totally different situations, because you can%26#039;t wear your flip-flops everywhere.
Reply:If you explain why you need shoes, I dont%26#039; see the problem. Besides, $80 is much for two shoes. It%26#039;s actually really cheap.

%26amp;

Shoe Storage Enquiries?
I have alot of sneakers, mainly Nike and Vans. They are in a mess. I want to store them in an organized way. At the same time, i also want to preserve them, eg. preventing them from %26#039;rotting%26#039;, collecting dust and fungus growing on them. It is for long lasting purposes.
Thanks in advance.
Shoe Storage Enquiries?
I had that same problem, and I tried the plastic shoe boxes, and put little pictures of each pair of shoes on the front of the box. This was a problem because I had no floor space to store them. I did have a hanging bar, with nothing hanging on it. So I bought a couple boxes of 1 gallon zip lock storage bags (the heavy duty freezer kind) and put one pair in each bag. Then I used large paperclips, bent into an %26quot;s%26quot; shape. I punched holes in the top of the freezer bag, and used plastic hole reinforcements around the punched holes, to keep them from ripping. Then I used the paperclips to hang the bags on hangers. a regular hanging bar will hold about 50 pairs of shoes. I can see through the bag, and I don%26#039;t need a picture on the front. the airtight bag keeps the shoes totally clean, and they don%26#039;t get smashed. This works well for keeping accessories with outfits too. (and for hiding money and other things.) If you don%26#039;t have a free hanging bar, you can always use a shower curtain rod, and just stick it up under your shorter hanging clothes. Good luck!
Reply:First you must clean them. then you need to put them in shoe storage boxes with the little pouches that come in the box when you buy them. They are to keep moisture away and fungus etc... if you threw all of them out, go to walmart and get some out of their boxes, or you can go to homedepot and get something similiar (not much money only $2). the storage boxes are clear so you can see what is in each one. Just make sure you get those little pouches, very inportant for preservation, keeps them from smelling too.

Does anyone have any advice about what kind of pointe shoes I should be wearing?
I have very strong, high arched, wide feet. I started pointe last year and right now I%26#039;m going through about a pair every 3 to 4 weeks. I%26#039;ve heard that I should try freed, I was wondering what kind of freed or any other ideas are very welcome!!
Does anyone have any advice about what kind of pointe shoes I should be wearing?
freeds would be very good for ur type of feet
Reply:yupp i suggest using freeds
they would work for you
and get lots of pads since you have strong feet.
Reply:freeds would be great:)
Reply:The only problem with Freeds is that the boxes last nowhere near as long as the shank. You can glue the boxes, though.
Reply:yes, try freeds or suffolk solos....(i have those and i LOVE them!!!) good luck!
Reply:merle (spelling) works really well for me and my feet are just like yours by the sounds of it.
hope this helps.
Reply:try freed.
you should go to the local dance store or the one at your studio if there is one and ask them
they can find a shoe that will be comfortable- well as far as pointe shoes go- and last longer.

Have all of this seasons mens trainers and shoes been released in the shops yet???
Trainers and shoes, etc in places like London.
I%26#039;m trying to find a new pair of shoes, and last time i went looking, all of them were very simialr in style and thus quite boring. And mental as it sounds, i didnt really like any of the 100 or so i saw. The same goes for smart/cas trainers, a very poor selection out there.
So is this it for this season? Please dont tell me mens fashion has come to this. Am i going to have to wait til January, or is there going to be good influx of different styles over the coming weeks???
Thanks, look forward to reply. ANd if anyone knows of any decent shoe shops in London that are nicely tucked away but that produce the most gorgeous MENS shoes, then please impart thanks! (Under the £300 mark please!!!)

We%26#039;d get different sizes delivered every other day, but the actual different styles of trainers and shoes would come in every week, maybe 2 weeks... the best thing to do i guess is just keep checking. If theres a particular shop you like the look of but cant find any shoes suitable, just keep going back every couple of weeks and asking if they%26#039;v had anything new in. Also, a lot of shop assistants dont know when new styles are coming in, its a case of whatever turns up on the delivery truck usually!! One of the questions on the applications is "Why did you leave your last position?" How do i answer!
I used to work as a teller. I used to really like the job, but my Cust. Serv. Mgr. became extremely difficult to work with! Her training techniques were HORRIBLE, she would yell at me for the smallest things (private %26amp; infront of co-wrkrs %26amp; customers!!) She would come to my window %26amp; wave papers in my face asking me something while im with a customer. She was rude to every1. She would tlk down on me..basically as if i were the dirt on the bottom of her shoe! I%26#039;ve had to take her to the Branch manager 2x (I wasnt the only one either) ...nothing was really done. So i had to leave, i couldnt stay at a job that i would dread going to EVERYDAY. As i quit, i told my branch manager that %26quot;Banking was just not the right industry for me, it doesnt fit with my personality, etc.%26quot; And she understood! Now, im filling out an application (FOR ANOTHER BANK) 1 of the questions is %26quot;Why did you leave your previous job?%26quot; I dont want to say because of my CSM!! ANY IDEAS WOULD BE HELPFUL...
One of the questions on the applications is %26quot;Why did you leave your last position?%26quot; How do i answer!
That%26#039;s a hard one. Since the people you will be interviewing with don%26#039;t know you or the others involved, they might think that you can%26#039;t get along with people if you tell the whole blunt truth. But it is not good to lie either. Most human resource professionals understand that everyone and anyone can have a personality conflict or difficulty at some point in their career but at the interview is not the place to talk about it. Maybe something like you wanted to try something different but later realized that the banking industry was what you are good at and where you want to be. That%26#039;s not lieing anyway. And, I would ensure (call them to ask) that you can get a good reference from someone at the previous bank - an ex supervisor or manager is best but at least a senior coworker.
Reply:Well maybe you could try something like looking for something closer to home??? Different hours??
Reply:Always speak positive. Although you had some difficult times you don%26#039;t want to take that baggage with you to your next place of employement and you don%26#039;t want another potential employer to think you may be the problem even though you weren%26#039;t. Be direct and focus your interview answer on the future, especially since your leaving wasn%26#039;t under the best of circumstances.
Prepare answers to typical job interview questions, like this one, in advance. Practice your responses so you sound positive, and clear, about your circumstances and your goals for the future:
This position seemed like an excellent match for my skills and experience and I am not able to fully utilize them in my present job.
I am looking to expand my knowledge and training within the banking industry.
There isn%26#039;t room for growth with my current employer and I%26#039;m ready to move on to a new challenge.
I%26#039;m looking for a bigger challenge and to grow my career and I couldn%26#039;t job hunt part time while working. It didn%26#039;t seem ethical to use my former employer%26#039;s time.
I%26#039;ve decided that is not the direction I want to go in my career and my current employer has no opportunities in the direction I%26#039;d like to head.
After several years in my last position, I%26#039;m looking for an company where I can contribute and grow in a team-oriented environment.
I am interested in a new challenge and an opportunity to use my technical skills and experience in a different capacity than I have in the past.
I am interested in a job with more responsibility, and I am very ready for a new challenge.
I am seeking a position with a stable company with room for growth and opportunity for advancement.
To be honest, I wasn%26#039;t considering a move, but, I saw this job posting and was intrigued by the position and the company. It sounds like an exciting opportunity and an ideal match with my qualifications.
Hope this helps and good luck!
Reply:The truth is better than any made up answer, believe me. When I was hiring people I heard everything from there was no opportunity to move up, (having a job is better than being unemployed and looking for a job so this didn%26#039;t make sense), and then when they call your work for references they get a different story (in my case she got fired). So telling the truth is the best option. Leaving because you were getting verbally abused is good because you say that you will stand up for yourself and you are not a pushover. Don%26#039;t be afraid; just don%26#039;t go into great detail.

How do I do a last minute dead ballerina costume. And how do I make it creepy?! I am only 13 so I cannot drive
I have ripped up tights, black leotard and old ballet shoes. How should I fix my hair and should I paint my nails black? I don%26#039;t want to make it too gory I just want people to see me and know that I am a dead ballerina!
How do I do a last minute dead ballerina costume. And how do I make it creepy?! I am only 13 so I cannot drive
I think I would look to makeup to create the %26quot;dead%26quot; effect. Really pale to white foundation, dark to black rings around your eyes and your eyelids to make your eyes look sunken. Hollow out your cheek bones with grey or black as well so you get a gaunt appearance. You could paint your nails black, but you don%26#039;t want them to look perfect. I%26#039;d suggest kind of scraping off some of the nailpolish after it dries to make it look like maybe you were clawing your way out of a coffin or something. Make sure your hair is mega messy. Hair spray it and tease it to be wild. Oh yes, black lipstick and don%26#039;t forget to put the lighter foundation on your neck too.
Reply:Do you have any nylon netting? That could be shredded for a scary dead tutu skirt....
Reply:make your face pale, put dark makeup around eyes, blood trickleing down your eyes, put your hair on top your head make it a messy bun or ponytail.nails could be black or darkred.
Reply:If youcan get some gray and black powders and lightly pat it all over your exposed skin. Rub the outside of the costume in some dirt to give it that old look.
A little gray and white powder in the hair( don%26#039;t it should wash out). Black eye shadow around the eyes makes them look sunken it.
That%26#039;s enough for now

Make your hair all rustled up, and look tangly, matted... (Bed head.. but really bad) Just a huge mess...
Put some baby powder/flour in your hands and work it through your hair to make it dirty and dusty looking (Make sure to get as much of it out as you can before washing it)
Have fun!
Reply:You could paint your nails black, but I would also powder your skin down so you look really white, and then smudge dark grey shadow around your eyes to make them look sunken in and dead. You may also want to add fake blood coming from your lip %26amp; powder down your hair so you look %26quot;dusty%26quot; like you%26#039;ve been rotting for a while.

If Obama and Hillary both running for CHANGE, then why doesnt Hillary try to team up with Obama??
If Hillary became Obama%26#039;s running mate, the chance the Democrats of winning are outstanding!!! Its pretty much a shoe in!! Also, when was the last time there was a woman vice president? If Hillary just slowed down a little and waited another few more years, after Obama, she could hold the Presidency too. Learn alittle more as our Vice President.

But I would personally love nothing more than to have Obama with Clinton as a running mate, and then come 2012 (or 2016 if Obama is re-elected), have Hilary make another run for the presidency.
I am all for women%26#039;s rights (I am a woman myself), but I think a lot of men are leery about having a woman control our country (and especially, be commander-in-chief). Also, I have heard the %26quot;she%26#039;ll have PMS%26quot; excuse. I think realistically, Obama has a much better chance at beating McCain than Hilary this fall. But I guarantee, there WILL be a woman president in the future!! I think Hilary is the perfect candidate, and I think being successful at being a vice president would convince people of this!! : )
Reply:I think that Hillary would be a real asset in Obama%26#039;s cabinet, but not as VP. The reason is Bill Clinton. She could not control him in the the primary race and he would constantly be trying to steal the limelight from both Hillary and Obama.
Instead of a third term for Bush if McCain is elected, it would be a third term for Bill Clinton if Hillary is VP.
Reply:First off, Obama was about change in the beginning. Hillary started talking about %26quot;HER EXPERIENCE%26quot;.
Then she pulled the race card, allowed it to brainwash the feable minded then started talking %26quot;SHE IS BETTER%26quot;.
Now that she can%26#039;t get the right scenario with MI %26amp; FL, now she talks about %26quot; HER Popular Vote Dilusion %26amp; Change%26quot;.
Hillary needs to check into REHAB...
Reply:Obama needs to pick someone of his own color. Leave Hillary out of it. Hillary deserves better.
Reply:It would be a dream ticket but she has pulled some pretty nasty stuff on Obama to sabbotage his bid for the Whitehouse. If it were me, I have to settle the score before I asked her.
Reply:Niether are about change, they are about getting elected.. change is inevitable....
Reply:she is power hungry. she cares zero about anyone else.

How do you tell a friend her outfit is disgustingly horrid with out hurting her feelings?
she keeps wearing all black emo outfits ...today she wore a black faded shirt over different black torn looking skirt with gold strings in it that were coming out, with red and black knee socks with ugly skulls with black ballet shoes..the other day she wore some ugly skirt over jeans that looked 2 sizes bigger..she has money to get clothes, she is just going inthe wrong direction because she dressed well last yr..and she has large outbursts and burps(this last part has nothing to do with it)..i hate when ppl dont wear clothes to compliment themselves
How do you tell a friend her outfit is disgustingly horrid with out hurting her feelings?
If you really were a true friend, you wouldn%26#039;t be saying those things and letting that get in the way of everything. True friends would never say that, they would love their friends too much to care.
So I would say go hang out with the other fashion zombies and Hollister/Abercrombie clones.
Reply:just try fixing her outfit and make it look subconcious, or wearing a headbad that you think would compliment what shes wearing and insisting she wear it. you could also try sugesting you go shopping together (i always use th old my-mother-is-a-cro-magnon-when-it-comes-... ruse)
Reply:If its her style, let her be
If she wants to wear it, let her wear it
If you really dont like it, let your opinion be heard. Tell her you personally dont like it, and then let it go,
She can either listen to you or ignore it, its her style, not yours.
Reply:shes gonna dress how shes wants to... let her be its her choice
Reply:I dunno, go to the mall with her and suggest trying on some clothes. It really shouldn%26#039;t matter to you if you are her true friend though...
Reply:why don%26#039;t you go shopping with her? suggest going and lead her to the stores she use to like and tell her how great things look on her and beg her to try on something that you think would look really good on her! then just tell her how amazing it really does look!
Reply:wow you sound like such a great friend. maybe she wants to dress %26quot;emo%26quot; Let her be herself, maybe you could learn something from her.
Reply:well, u could
1. accept her choices and feel as long as she is happy and isnt really emo (depressed, etc) then think %26quot;i guess this is how she is%26quot;
2. go shopping w/her.
Reply:tell her you want to go out with her some time and go shopping. When you hit the mall pick out outfits you think looks cute and tell her to try em on and say how beautiful she looks in them.
Plus you seem like a good friend. To the girl below, she%26#039;s just trying to help her friend out, make her look nice because that%26#039;s what TRUE friends do-- want the best for their close ones.
Reply:the over sized jeans are weird, but other than that, it sounds cool. and thats not emo, thats punk, I hate it when people use the word emo wrong
Reply:kinda had this problem with one of my friends..
i mean i loved her and all(friend wise) but it wasn%26#039;t the best choices for her..
me and a group of friends went to the mall together.. took her to stores that had cute clothes and told her she had to at least try a few things on!. She was totally into and i think she really did want to change her wardrobe.. she just wasn%26#039;t sure what to start with..
She ended up getting a lot of cute clothes!..
but we told her she couldn%26#039;t go to hot topic till she at least tried some other stuff on!..
It was really fun!.. And i think she had a great time too!

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe...?
...She had so many children, she didn%26#039;t know what to do.
She gave them some broth without any bread,
and spanked them all soundly and sent them to bed.
Okay, that%26#039;s how I remember the rhyme. Were my parents just scaring my or is that the way it went?
Now the last two lines go like this:
...She gave them some broth without any bread,
And kissed them all sweetly and sent them to bed.
Anyone else remember some revised nursery rhymes?
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe...?
Nope your parents said it right. If you think about it all nursery rhymes were politically incorrect. They stereotyped people, were racist and filled with abuse. If you ever get the chance look up some of the true meanings behind them on line. You would be surprised and maybe a little disgusted at what you find. For instance %26quot;Ring around the Roses%26quot; was supposedly about a family that caught a contagious disease and the neighbors burned them.
But if you want revised ones:
Hickory Dickory dock, this B**** was sucking on my cock,
The clock struck two I spilled my goo and dropped the hoe off on the next block.
Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet eating her curds and whey, Along came a spider and sat down beside her and asked %26quot;What%26#039;s in the bowl B****!!!%26quot;
Gotta love Andrew Dice Clay. He was a straight fool!!

My dog insists on peeing on the carpet every night at the same time on the same spot, why is that?
I wake up and there is a pee spot on the the same spot that she did last nigh and the night before why does she do that is she mad at me for something because whenever i go somewhere she always wants to tag along and if i don%26#039;t let her she gets all mad and chews on my shoes but i don%26#039;t know if she pees on the carpet cuz opf that or if she smells a smell as if the people that used to live there had a dog and peed there once too. and i want to know if we need to wake up earlier to let her out or put a puppy pad down for her.
My dog insists on peeing on the carpet every night at the same time on the same spot, why is that?
Let her live outside where it doesn%26#039;t matter where she pees. Dogs belong outside.
Reply:She keeps going in the same spot because she smells it. The only way you will get rid of the smell is if you remove the carpet. A puppy pad will not help. After you remove the carpet clean the areas where she had her accidents with ammonia.
Reply:i don%26#039;t know where you are from, but there is a website... dogpro.org and you can find a trainer in your area. These trainers are dome of the best in the country. I know this because my Dad is one of them. Obedience class is by far one of the best things you can do for your dog.
Reply:When do you take her our last and when is the first time you take her out. we let dogs out last between 10pm and 11pm and the first time in the morning at 7am-8am . try using a two in one oxy pet cleaner on the spot she pees on, or put papper down to show her paper is better to pee on.
Reply:dogs do it to mark their terratory. so do foxes etc.
perhaps you need to house train it.
Reply:thats wierd, even my pup only pees on the carpet...getting annoying now...
Reply:she is probably going through a phase because my dog did that all the time... she insisted on getting a chew toy and all the ones I have given her she dug up in one spot but she doesn%26#039;t do it anymore...
Reply:If its the same time, why dont you take her out?
Or get a pee pee pad and place in her spot.
My dog is on a schedule.
We started him with pee pee pads, even had to replace a room of carpet to linoleum just to get rid of smell and easier clean up.
He is on schedule and does not pee in the house.
Every two hours as a puppy.
Reply:NO PUPPY PADS. that will teach your dog that it%26#039;s ok to go potty inside. Make sure you take her outside immediately before you go to bed. If your doing that. Try putting her in the bathroom with a baby gate Or crate train her. If thats not working After you have taken her out for the night, no more water. until morning.
You also need an enzyme remover. That will take away the smell of her urine, to keep her from going potty in the same spot.
KIDS %26#039;n%26#039; PETS is the ONLY product I have found to get rid of the urine smell and stain! It%26#039;s at wal-mart and costs about 4 dollars. It beats everything ( Natures Miracle, Oxy Clean, Get Serious* that was even recommended by a trainer at pet smart, and didn%26#039;t work* , Vingar and water. Nothing worked. Spot shot gets the stain out amazing. but for a stain and oder KIDS %26#039;n%26#039; PETS works wonders and also received 4 stars and great reviews on amazon.com.
But, you need an enzyme remover for sure!
Good Luck!
( and DO NOT USE AMMONIA.. There is ammonia in the dogs urine and that will keep her going back to the same spot )
Reply:are you strict with your dog?
if you arent it means he is domanant and he thinks he owns the carpet.
Reply:I have a pitbull puppy and I crate train him at night. He would whine in the cage i let him out. He finnally learned I whine i go outside. I think in the begining have your puppy in a crate at night I dont put my puppy in the crate anymore. the crate teaches them to be clean where they sleep.

I really Want a pair of Puma shoes, how can i convince my mum to let me have them?
Its not just that they are in style, or the fact that both of my best friends have them, i need new shoes and want a good comfortable pair that will last me. The thing is they are expensive and i dont know how to even get my mom to consider them! any suggestions? :)
I really Want a pair of Puma shoes, how can i convince my mum to let me have them?
well ask her to give you some money, (the amount she usually pays for them) and then pay the rest yourself.
Reply:First get a job. If you are not old enough, then ask your parents what you can do to get some money. Maybe babysit for a neighbor. Or ask your grandparents for a job, I bet they will help you.
Reply:you should save your money from your birthday/allowances cause your mom will like definately say no so there is no point of begging. You could also check out foot locker to see if they have sales on Pumas.
Reply:Take all your moms shoes and hold them hostage, and then tell mom you will release them once you get pumas

I need a good pair or walking shoes for my job.?
At my job I have to be on my feet for nine hours and my feet really hurt by the end of the day. I got a good pair of athletic shoes but the last couple of hours they really hurt my heels and give me blisters and calises. Anyone know of a good pair of shoes I could buy, hopefully not too expensive?
I need a good pair or walking shoes for my job.?
Birkenstocks might be a good shoe....but they are very expensive! I agree with trying new balance. I was in nursing and that%26#039;s what helped me.
Reply:I work around 12 hours a day, and my feet started hurting so badly I had to see a doctor, where I learned I had developed %26quot;heel spurs%26quot;. The doctor said I needed surgery; however, my pharmicist suggested a new shoe, and I got them. Their called Birkenstocks. They%26#039;ve got cork soles and mold to your own feet. I wore these from that point on, and when I went back for xrays on my feet, 3 months later, the spurs were gone!!!!!! And I%26#039;ve had no feet pain ever since! They have all different styles to choose from, and are the best for workers who are constantly on their feet!
Reply:New Balance
Reply:well van%26#039;s are what a lot of nurses wear that are always on their feet all day.... i wear some the same style of van%26#039;s just with a steel toe because i work in a candy factory, but they%26#039;re comfortable and im on my feet 8-12 hours a day.. you might also try finding new balance, those are pretty decent, most people like those or vans.
Reply:AS A DIABETIC WHO IS ALSO ON MY FEET 16-HOURS A DAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE NEW BALANCE 608. THEY HAVE A GREAT INSOLE AND SUPPORT YOUR FEET WITH EASE AND RUN FOR ABOUT $30-$45.00.
Reply:I work on concreate floors for 8-16 hours a day.. I just bought a pair of men%26#039;s Nike Max Air shoes and they are soooo comfotable!! I spent around 70 dollars on them at Finish Line, and they couldn%26#039;t be better!
Reply:you should get those shoes that look like they were made for indains my mom bought them they are from that clothing line ARIZONA they are comfortable yet stylish and they dont cost a fortune!
Reply:reebok tennis shoes are wonderful. I also am on my feet at work all day and also walk in the evenings after dinner and they are the only shoes that have not made my feet hurt. They are the best in my opinion. I have tried most other brands and have found none of them come close to the comfort of my reeboks.
Reply:Any skater shoe they are built for comfort. Vans suck though. I use to wear nothing but vans and my feet always hurt. I wear Etnies and I work 12 hour days and my feet and back never hurt. Plus unlike Nike%26#039;s they don%26#039;t cost to much. You could also try hospital clogs. These are made for people who work 16+ hours a day.
Reply:i used to work on my feet as well for longer periods a day and i bought low shoes and it helped but it was better when i bought cusion like dr. scholls..or you can try clogs like the nurses..
Reply:I have a really bad back....scolosis and osteoarthritis. I work on my feet, part-time, and the only shoes that allow me to do this with little to no back pain are New Balance. I would also suggest some of those Dr. Schol%26#039;s get insoles.

Tips for Finding lost Tap Shoes?
I lost my Capezio Mary Jane Carmel Tap shoes. I really need these because I will be doing last years tap dance for a Pageant. I went looking this morning and all I could find was 1 tapshoe from 3 years ago. Any one got any tips on finding my lost shoes?
Tips for Finding lost Tap Shoes?
Pretend you are the jazz shoes... I you were a pair of jazz shoes, where would you be??? Put up a lost sign if you think you lost them outside of ur house.
Reply:Will they still fit you? You don%26#039;t say if you are of an age where your feet have stopped growing.
You could try whistling the shoemaker%26#039;s song from Hans Christian Anderson.
Reply:Look for them EVERYWHERE and if you still can%26#039;t find them, buy some new one%26#039;s.
Reply:Look in places that you would never think of. If you keep the shoe box%26#039;s look there too.

What would you do if you were in my shoes?
Again,I need your wise help.I%26#039;ve been offered a job as a switchboard operator in a 5 luxury star hotel in Venice.Actually,it%26#039;s a hotel in a lonely island in front of Saint Mark square. The hotel is the only building in the island but there%26#039;s a free boat-shuttle service from and to the island to Saint Mark square. The job itself sounds quite interesting and it%26#039;s a way to use my English too.
The only problem is that since I don%26#039;t live there nor nearby, they can put me up in a shared accomodation with one or two other people.
Unfortunately, the last time I shared an accommodation with somebody,it was a tragic experience and I wouldn%26#039;t want it to happen again. What should I do?If you were me,would you accept it or not?
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated and please, tell me if you think my English is good.
What would you do if you were in my shoes?
Well, is this job better than your current job? If you take the job, will you be able to save enough to quickly move out on your own? BTW, your english is perfect.
Reply:Find something closer to home. If the pay is not gonna be worth it.....I%26#039;d say No
Reply:I would take that job in a heartbeat if I were you. It gives you a chance to work on your abilities and thats great. Move there and save up enought to get your own place.

Soccer Shoes?
I got new soccer shoes last fall and they gave me super bad blisters - which is weird because i never get blisters. I wore them in games, but i wore my old ones in practice. Besides wearing my cleats, what are other ways of breaking them in so i dont get blisters?
Soccer Shoes?
Get Etnies!
Reply:Well I think it depends on the cleats you got because I%26#039;ve noticed that only the Nike Mercurial Vapors give me and my friends blisters. So i switched to the Lotto Zhero Evolution and they didnt give me any problems....I suggest that you put some padding on the shoes because i%26#039;m guessing that you got blisters on the back end of youre feet. I dont know if theres a certain name for that part of the foot but hopefully you know what i mean....anyways....you could just wear them to practice once in a while and that way you could break them in faster. atleast thats what i would do if i were you

Shoes and socks?
do your shoes last longer if you wear socks?
Shoes and socks?
Not really. You wear socks to keep our shoes from smelling and to make the shoes fit snugly. When you exercise, sweat, bacteria and old skin collect in your socks. Then you wash the socks to rid them of rotting skin and bacteria so they don%26#039;t smell. If you don%26#039;t wear socks, sweat, bacteria and dead skin accumulate in your shoes, where bacteria ferment skin to cause a horrible odor. You wear socks to keep shoes from smelling.

Reply:Two years ago, the day before Thanksgiving, I slipped and fell and sprained my ankle. I don%26#039;t remember what shoes I was wearing. But I had people coming over for TG and I had to clean the house, and make the turkey and potatoes and have everything ready. And I did it all on my own. (Needless to say, I%26#039;m getting divorced now).
Reply:last year wearing winter boots of all things and I ended up with a broken leg because of the way I landed on it. But I couldn%26#039;t stop laughing because I knew how comical it looked. I was just glad my hubby was holding our son.

This guy still holding a grudge against me because i accidently step on his new shoes last year?
It was mid after noon back in september of 2007 when i was heading home from work i took the elevator to get to my 13 floor apartment the elevator got full very quickly and there was a man behind me.The people rushing in the elevator accidentally push me back to where the man was standing behind me then i accidentally step on his shoes when i was accidentally pushed. that man was talking all(ghetto) like saying (u must be whiling and u must be bugging me and saying let me calm down). I some how new he wanted to hurt me but meaning he knows me from the neighborhood he cant lay a hand on me because he seen me fight a fat men who was taller and bigger then me who tried to hurt my sister and the guy was just talking crap and trying to provoke me but then i let him talk all the crap he wanted to say and just got to my floor and went on home all mad. The thing is that i didnt want to fight because he was on some kind of gang i too have people the help me with that but they are not from gang
This guy still holding a grudge against me because i accidently step on his new shoes last year?
Maybe he just used the stepping on shoes excuse because he wanted to show you that he can fight and win even though you fought the big guy who bothered your sister. However, stay away from this. You don%26#039;t need to get into that situation. First you will fight him and then someone else will come along and want to fight you and your whole life will be one fight after the other.
Reply:Sounds to me like he was already having a bad day and was looking for someone to take it out on.Tell him to get over it.It was an accident.
Reply:Act like it never happened. Be cheerful and stupid.
Reply:Ignore him and his anger. He is not worth your time.

Why does all our money just disappear?
Each month we are left further and further in debt. I don%26#039;t go out, don%26#039;t visit hairdressers, haven%26#039;t bought new shoes in 4 years, buy only cheap clothes, plan meals and shop off lists, take family out at payday and maybe buy 2 take away meals a month and yet we are still in the red and this month particularly-I had to borrow from my kid to just survive until pay day in 10 days!!! Is life trying to wring every last bit of hope and happiness out of me?? I do loads of voluntary work-I%26#039;ve spent all day looking for a part time job today with no luck-and I feel like my chest is about to burst with anger! I%26#039;m a good person who is devoted to family and friends -I%26#039;m normally strong and self reliant but not today. I don%26#039;t want a loan or credit card-they make you go into more debt-does this happen to you all the time? We got rid of them. How can I turn this around so we aren%26#039;t scraping pennies together each month? What MORE can I do?? We don%26#039;t qualify for any benefits,don%26#039;t want them either!
Why does all our money just disappear?
Write a budget. List ALL your monthly outgoings - mortgage, car, fuel elec, phone, sky etc. Try really hard to make sure you get everything, then add on £50 per month to cover unexpected bills and add it all up.
Next, write down your monthly income next to your total monthly outgoings and compare the two. If your income is less than your spending, review immediately - do you NEED sky? Do you NEED a mobile? The chances are, however, that your income is more than your outgoings and you just don%26#039;t realise how much is being wasted each month!
Don%26#039;t use credit or debit cards - withdraw a fixed amount of CASH at the start of each month for food, clothes etc. It will
be a lot easier to control spending if it%26#039;s £10 notes - when it%26#039;s gone, it%26#039;s gone!
Be prepared for some harsh truths - you may well find your partner has a spending habit you didn%26#039;t know about - hence the situation.
As for benefits, there%26#039;s no problem with checking out - you pay taxes dont you? try entitledto.com Also, dont want to appear rude but ANYTHING pays better than unpaid voulantary work - even Asda / Tesco etc. I know it%26#039;s no fun, but it%26#039;s money.

Reply:Oh man, is this one familiar. It is very hard to get by in this world today. A lot of it can be linked back to inflation. Gas prices are up and the money market is down. Plus, we can also thank wastes of life such as Paris Hilton, for instance...she%26#039;s got all the money in the world for being the most useless living thing on Earth. She%26#039;s faking an illness to evade her responsibility, and somehow still has soooo much money thanks to Daddy, while the rest of us have to struggle for financial freedom. I am in debt myself and I am still searching for a job. Society will soon face the day when we hit rock bottom, then drastic changes will be made. Otherwise, we all are going to feel the bind of monetary monsters and have to deal with these Hollywood whores who get paid to do nothing. You can%26#039;t have something for nothing...I don%26#039;t know how to solve your problem...I can%26#039;t even solve my own. But the key steps in helping yourself is to understand the reasons why we are here.
Reply:In the long term don%26#039;t vote for Labour next time! More of your money has been stealthily taken by Brown without you realising!
Grow your own - on the way we have potatoes, onions, strawberries, rhubarb, runner beans, tomatoes, cucmbers, and we don%26#039;t know anything about gardening and only have a small space! We have just finished all the things we froze down last year!
Home cooking! Buy Bramley apples and/or rhubarb, plums later on. Stew them down, cheap nourishing pudding. Mashed potatoes with veg and fish, cheap, tasty and does you good! Etc. etc.
Don%26#039;t shop at Tesco etc. They have raised prices heavily over te last few years (typically rhubarb last year was £1.75, this year £2.99, but I bought at local market for £1.50). They offer you so much extra choice you are tempted! Try Aldi (our preferred) Lidl and or Netto. Much better prices, quality generally as good. Also because there is less choice you buy less!!!!! and then realise you didn%26#039;t need the things you used to buy before anyway! All of them also sell lots of household products at rock bottom prices, we have had loads and they are 99% as good quality as %26quot;branded%26quot; products. you have to shop differently, buy when they have for the future as they only sell spot lines which change every week!
Try eBay for the next things you want, you can get just about anything at much cheaper prices than the shops.
Hope this helps!

If you do voluntary work that%26#039;s all well and good but if you are hard up for cash then charity starts at home so go get a job and stop complaining.
I could work out others ways to save money but i dont have any other details.

It seems you can%26#039;t really spend less so you want to look for high paying jobs.
Good luck to you.

Look for a better paid job. It may take a while, but there is always something better out there.
Downsize your home. If you rent, you might want to move to a less desirable area to free up some money. It might only be temporary. If you own, you can free up some money by downsizing. You can then use the money to start trading part time. Even selling t-shirts in a market can bring in extra cash.
Do not get a credit card. All you will do is line their pockets.
Chin up though, I was permanently skint for years and things got better.
