daaa.
Reply:just clean it everyday
Reply:My friend Selteti had some, but thw whole shoe was clear. It was funny b.c he wore weird socks. But anyway he just used water and cleaned them clean.
Reply:Clean them everyday and dont use them in any sports or in P.E
Reply:glue (with a gluestick so its clear) a white peice of paper and it will last pretty long.do it almost every other day. i hear that it will turn yellow anyway. if it gets one bit moist, once it dries (in the sun) like 30 times it will get a tint to it.
Reply:wash them everyday after you wear them...lol idk maybe it would help! lol : )
Reply:why not try covering them with the scotch guard or some shellac or clear paint. Then when you wash them off the dirt and grime will rinse away.
might work.

I have been wearing heels over 4" high for the last 8 months, Any thoughts or suggestions?
I stopped wearing any shoes with heels under four inches about 8 months ago. I can honestly say I don%26#039;t miss my flat shoes any more. I plan on never wearing low heels for the rest of my life! Does anyone else ever just wear only heels?
I have been wearing heels over 4%26quot; high for the last 8 months, Any thoughts or suggestions?
No--I wear them pretty frequently and have some on now, but I don%26#039;t want my calf muscles and hamstrings to be shortened, so I try to wear a variety of heel heights. In my own experience, flats are not necessarily easier to wear than heels, as my feet roll in them.
Wedges might be a good alternative.
It is true that nothing looks sexier than a heel....
Reply:It%26#039;s not a very good idea to wear heels 24/7. It is not good for your back or feet. Heels with a 2 inch heel are equally as sexy as one with a 4 inch heel. Any ones higher than that tend to look a little trashy and, to be honest, a bit ridiculous as well.
I do wear heels often (I hate sneakers and flip flops, ew!), but I make sure to alternate between heels and flats so I won%26#039;t be in pain later on. I also don%26#039;t wear any higher than 3 inches. Ones higher than that are just way too uncomfortable.
Reply:well no... i normally wear flip-flops or uggs.
and to go out..... flats or flip flops :)
you know wearing high heals a lot will give you a foot disease called planter faishyitis..
you get it from having too high of an arch which supposivly is given to you by wearing high heals too much.. so stick with flat based shoes.
cuz you dont want planter faishyitis my mom has it.. and she says it hurts when it really starts to kick in..
(im not telling you that you cannot wear high heals again just wear them on special occassions when you think you need to be dressed up or fancy)
Reply:I love my 3 to 4%26quot; heels but I also love my flats and sneakers. I do not think its a good idea to wear only one kind of shoe. It seems my feet are happier when I wear lots of different types of shoes! (and I love shoes so that works out great for me:)
Reply:In a few years you%26#039;re going to be so sorry. Heels that high are really bad for your back and they do damage that cant be repaired. Swallow your pride and get some comfy shoes. Heels should ony be worn for a short period of time.

My toenail is black and purple after a day at basketball camp. What should I do?
This happened to me last year, but to both big toes, at a different basketball camp - I just bought new shoes and it was all better. This time it%26#039;s only my right big toe. It is swollen from the knuckle up, and pretty badly bruised from just below the cuticle and up. I was running/pounding/jumping etc at basketball camp when my toe started aching really badly...it hurt to even move really...so I took off my shoes/socks and it was all bruised. Now, about 10 hours later, it%26#039;s even more bruised and hurts more, whether I move or not. I%26#039;ve been icing and elevating it, took some advil, and I bought new basketball shoes and cushioning socks to use for the rest of camp.
I was just wondering if anybody could give me advice about what else to do to treat it, or what is going to happen...how long to recover, will it hurt even more, is it maybe something worse than just a bruise, etc. All advice is appreciated! Thank you!
My toenail is black and purple after a day at basketball camp. What should I do?
You know the RICE solution, right?
rest, ice, compression, elevation
So the only thing you%26#039;re not doing is compressing. Just don%26#039;t compress too tightly. Use athletic tape or a tiny ace bandage and wrap it overnight. A light wrap around the nail might help the pain a little bit (keeping the nail as close to the nail bed as possible) tomorrow during practice. Advil 4 tablets every 6 hours. If that doesn%26#039;t do it all, take 2 Extra Strength Tylenol every 6 hours in between the Advil doses.
Are you sure it%26#039;s not broken? Dislocated? I%26#039;d be much more comfortable with an x-ray. Is there a dr. on board? Take every opportunity to get the shoe off and elevate the foot. Ice 20m on 20m off when possible.
Take care,

Reply:go to the doctor and let them check it out. That%26#039;s what%26#039;s best
Reply:probally bleeding under the toe nail. but it will heal. get over it
Reply:it sounds like either you broke your toe (in which case you can%26#039;t really do anything about it, but still go to see a dr. and they may have you wear a soft shoe and take it easy for a couple days) or you just irritated your toenail to the point where it has become dead. It may actually fall off in the future, as gross as that sounds. But alot of athletes, runners, etc. get this when they are training hard because their feet rub up against their shoes. The point is is that if it continues to hurt you, you should see a dr. just to be sure.
Reply:SOAK IT IN ICE WATER AND ADD SALT TO THE WATER
Reply:did you play basketball with an in grown toenail?? if so, ouch. It happened to me before and i had to go to the doctor he had to take out the dead nail then bandage it for couple of weeks till the nail grows back.
Reply:you need to keep your toenails cut shorter.
This happens to runners all the time - we call it %26quot;black toe%26quot;
It is caused by the toenail being jammed against the inside of the shoe repeatedly and the nail bed bruising.
It will recover, but if you don%26#039;t keep your toenails short, it will just keep happening
Reply:First thing to do is to clip your toenails very short. By doing this they won%26#039;t suffer blunt force trauma anymore. You will most likely lose the toenails, but if not just remember to keep them cut short.
Reply:always seek medical help when you are unsure of the symptoms, statistics show that 73% of those that seek help are correct in assuming that it is a larger problem. sounds like you cracked the bone and/or ruptured a main capillary.good luck....

You probly have plantar fasciitis
- Plantar fasciitis (say “PLAN-ter fash-ee-EYE-tus”) is the most common cause of heel pain. The plantar fascia is the flat band of tissue (ligament) that connects your heel bone to your toes. It supports the arch of your foot. If you strain your plantar fascia, it gets weak, swollen, and irritated (inflamed). Then your heel or the bottom of your foot hurts when you stand or walk.
Plantar fasciitis is common in middle-aged people. It also occurs in younger people who are on their feet a lot, like athletes or soldiers. It can happen in one foot or both feet.
What causes plantar fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis is caused by straining the ligament that supports your arch. Repeated strain can cause tiny tears in the ligament. These can lead to pain and swelling. This is more likely to happen if:
Your feet roll inward too much when you walk (excessive pronation).
You have high arches or flat feet.
You walk, stand, or run for long periods of time, especially on hard surfaces.
You are overweight.
You wear shoes that don%26#039;t fit well or are worn out.
You have tight Achilles tendons or calf muscles.
What are the symptoms?
Most people with plantar fasciitis have pain when they take their first steps after they get out of bed or sit for a long time. You may have less stiffness and pain after you take a few steps, but your foot may hurt more as the day goes on. It may hurt the most when you climb stairs or after you stand for a long time.
If you have foot pain at night, you may have a different problem, such as tarsal tunnel syndrome.
How is plantar fasciitis diagnosed?
Your doctor will check your feet and watch you stand and walk. He or she will also ask questions about:
Your past health, including what illnesses or injuries you have had.
Your symptoms, such as where the pain is and what time of day your foot hurts most.
How active you are and what types of physical activity you do.
Your doctor may take an X-ray of your foot if he or she suspects a problem with the bones of your foot, such as a stress fracture.
How is it treated?
No single treatment works best for everyone with plantar fasciitis. But there are many things you can try to help your foot get better:
Give your feet a rest. Cut back on activities that make your foot hurt. Try not to walk or run on hard surfaces.
To reduce pain and swelling, try putting ice on your heel. Or take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen (such as Advil or Motrin), naproxen (such as Aleve), or aspirin.
Do calf stretches and towel stretches several times a day, especially when you first get up in the morning.
Get a new pair of shoes. Pick shoes with good arch support and a cushioned sole. Or try heel cups or shoe inserts (orthotics). Use them in both shoes, even if only one foot hurts.
If these treatments do not help, your doctor may give you splints that you wear at night, shots of steroid medicine in your heel, or other treatments. You probably will not need surgery. Doctors only suggest it for people who still have pain after trying other treatments for 6 to 12 months.
How long will it take for the pain to go away?
Plantar fasciitis most often occurs because of injuries that have happened over time. With treatment, you will have less pain within a few weeks. But it may take time for the pain to go away completely—from a few months to a year.
Stay with your treatment. If you don%26#039;t, you may have constant pain when you stand or walk. The sooner you start treatment, the sooner your feet will stop hurting.

Reply:Several things might be going on.
Sometimes your feet are different sizes from each other, and it will cause pain in one foot or heel.
Sometimes you shoe is wearing out on the inside and a small tack or nail is starting to come through which makes a bruise that is not yet visible on your heel.
Sometimes your outer heel of your shoe is worn and that will cause you pain.
When you step hard on a stone, you can get a deep bruise on your heel or bottom of your foot that will ache for several days.
Also, there is a condition called Plantar Fasciitis- read the link below and give your local advice nurse a call to help determine if this is what is bothering you.
Otherwise, keep off your feet for a bit, wear shoes that do not hurt and try elevating your heet/foot.
Reply:More than likely it is a spur. My husband had one and it hurt terribly. He went to a foot specialist and he gave him a cortisone shot and it finally got better.
so go see a foot doctor!!

Cleaning my tennis shoes.. Will this work?
baby wipes are great an if they aren%26#039;t working try a little cif formally jiff on them.........%26quot;cream cleaner%26quot;
Reply:I wouldnt bother. TO be honest, with trainers it wont really come off properly especailly if they are white. Why not put them into something such as a pillowcase and just wash them? Wash them on fairly low, and on their own so not to damage anything else or with boring things like sheets or towels and they will be fine. Wash them on a fairly low temp though otherwise they will shrink. They will come out looking clean as new. Good luck.

Will you help my girlfriend achieve her dream of being a model?
today is the last day....help make her win
she is one of the top 10 girls who are tying to become the face of emu shoes (they make UG type shoes) that is based out of australia. Her dream is to become a model and this is a great way for her to make it into the industry. I got her a photo shoot and make up session for her birthday and she has entered some of her photos in this. The photo they put up is the worst one out of the lot. It was taken with the secondary camera from a bad angle and it was at the end of the day when her hair had fallen, yet she is still winning. Help her acchieve her dream please.
